Tim Shevlin is the owner and primary Exercise Therapist, Nutritionist, and Personal Trainer with Tim Shevlin’s Golf Fitness. A native of Pine Island. Growing up in Pine Island, Tim lived on a large, rural property with lots of tropical fruit trees, it was here that he learned at an early age the importance of nutrition and having an active lifestyle.

Tim spent his youth playing competitive sports, and while not a naturally gifted athlete, through hard work he excelled at an elite level through high school and college, where he received varsity letters in football and track & field. The training and work ethic he learned as an elite athlete serves him well in his current role as a personal trainer.

As Georgia’s premier personal trainer, Tim Shevlin brings his life-long passion for nutrition and exercise to work every day.

Tim also has extensive background and experience in injury recovery and rehabilitation. “My athletic career was cut short in college, when I severely herniated a disc in my back. Instead of undergoing back surgery, I decided to try and rehabilitate myself.”

When the injury occurred Tim was studying medicine at the University of Florida with plans to become and orthopedic surgeon. “I wasn’t blindly trying to rehabilitate myself, by this time I had extensive training in anatomy and physiology, I knew what I was doing, and I was confident that with careful and diligent training I would be able to recover.”

Despite being warned of the danger by his doctors, Tim started his own rehabilitation, it worked. He was able to avoid surgery and successfully rehabilitate his back.

“After successfully rehabbing my own back injury, I changed my career path and dedicated my life to helping others overcome their own health challenges using a natural approach, combining specific exercises and nutrition.”

Tim has made some mistakes, and he owns them all. In his 20’s, he turned down a more self-destructive path and developed an addiction to pain medication that he has worked very hard to overcome. Life is a learning process, and Tim feels his addictions were not weaknesses, but obstacles to overcome and learn from. He even credits his strength and focus to his battle with addiction. “It’s amazing how my recovery from drug addiction has helped me help others. Recovery from any addiction is very difficult, but true recovery will leave you with a greater understanding of yourself and life in general. I use my experiences in recovery in addition to what I have learned in CBT training to help people overcome their own struggles with food and other addictions.”

If you commit and do everything within my coaching program and don’t see and feel noticeable results after 12 weeks I will refund you your entire investment. No questions asked, we just simply part as friends, not that I’ve ever had to give anyone a refund before.
